Some activities are great for many kids from age 1 to 7 or even more. This activity is one of them. You can start with your 1 yo just by putting pompoms in holes randomly. You can add tongs to make it more difficult for your 2 yo and add simple colors for 3 yo and color patterns for 4-5 yo and then add more holes and longer patterns for 6 it goes on like this. Briefly, It’s up to you to make it easier and harder.
You can have fun while strengthening hand muscles with clothespins and matching patterns. For older kids you can add more patterns. You can use markers if you don’t have washi tapes.
