Have you seen our newspaper stuffed sea animals yet? This time we used cardboard to create our newspaper sea animals. Adding more glitter makes the craft look more shiny, right?!
Newspapers are great for crafting. If you cut a bunch of newspaper in the shape of a butterfly at the same time and tie it in the middle with a jute rope, you will have wonderful butterflies.
Foam is a great material for sewing practice. You can draw whatever you want and then make holes on foam to make it easier for kids to sew. It is too much fun. I use packing needle for pre-holes.
Small world setups are great for the kids. You can use paper cups to create a very cute village. You can put led lights/candles inside them if you want to lighten your dark winter days.
After drawing and cutting our newspaper animals, we filled them with newspaper, stapled the edges and then colored them with watercolor. They turned into super cute sea creatures.
We normally use salt dough to make hand/foot prints to save as a nice memory. But this time we tried to make fishes. After giving shapes, we let them dry overnight and then colored with watercolor.

These beautiful rocks are from last summer (2019). We painted these in Turkey in grandma’s home and then gave them to grandma as a gift. Now they are making grandma’s cactuses more cuter.
