A great embroidery practice for kids and good beginning for sewing. Pre-holes make it even easier for smaller kids. I can say that this is great exercise for 6+. For smaller kids you can use plastic needle and make it even much easier with pre-holes.
Did you know that all rainbow colors are available in nature during fall season?? Here is the proof of it. Look at this beautiful rainbow made with leaves.
Are you ready to count? My 3 yo boy has been practicing numbers recently. Now it is 1-2-3 time for us. Let’s find something in nature to practice counting then. Sticks, leaves, cones and whatever you find is great to give a start. 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣
Sometimes seeing your family in a very cute format makes you feel cheerful. At the beginning we created very small family with mum, dad and a baby, but then my second boy offered me to add our baby and his big brother. I hadn’t realized until that moment that he created his own family. So it turned out our weekend fun to craft our family who was enjoying hammock in a forest on a rainy day. 😊
I have many reasons to love autumn. Nature prepares us for winter with its warm colors. I think my favorite is to make autumn crafts, because it is very easy to find materials in nature during fall season.
My 3 yo boy made this for mother’s day. It is super simple and fun to make. We used flower shaped cutter to create ours. Scissors can be used, too. My son really loved to glue them and great his own flower garden. 🌸🌼🌸
Nature makes everything look adorable, right?! You can prepare your own card to send on special days to your besties. ❤️ Or you can put this little art into a tiny frame to hang on the wall. 🌼🌼🌼 Don’t forget to drop a lovely note under your craft!
Spring is the best time to observe nature and see the new life of plants growing under melting snow. Blossoms always send us positive energy while sending off long and dark winter days. Make a spring craft to welcome spring.
Acorns are great for making DIY decorations. This time we used nail polishes to color them.
After dressing up the acorns with fabrics, we decided to use yarns to wrap some acorns, too. They turned out so beautiful and as everyone said they really looked like colorful lights. Using a piece of branch we turned them into a nice DIY decoration.
