Just grab some buttons, beads and metal wire and create your own wall hanging. Actually they were hanging on our window all winter long, but the original idea was for making wall hangings. ๐
Do you like nature crafts? Dried flowers? We really love creating with dried flowers.
Newspapers are great for crafting. If you cut a bunch of newspaper in the shape of a butterfly at the same time and tie it in the middle with a jute rope, you will have wonderful butterflies.
Creating DIY decorations is always too much fun. Cut a circle from cardboard and make holes around this circle. Cut long strips of fabric and thread them through the holes and knot them.
Acorns are great for making DIY decorations. This time we used nail polishes to color them.
After dressing up the acorns with fabrics, we decided to use yarns to wrap some acorns, too. They turned out so beautiful and as everyone said they really looked like colorful lights. Using a piece of branch we turned them into a nice DIY decoration.

I feel very happy when my kids come to me with an idea. One day when I went to pick up my son from kindergarten, I saw an acorn in his hand and asked to him about his plan with this acorn and he said to me that he was planning to glue googly eyes on it and then be friend with it.
Have you seen such crazy and funny birds before? You can paint them however you want. We painted some of them with watercolor while painting some of them with markers. I am sure that crayon will also work great for painting them. You can make a small hole to pass the wing through so it will have wings on both sides.
