You can add tongs to make it more difficult for your 2 yo and add simple colors for 3 yo and color patterns for 4-5 yo and then add more holes and longer patterns for 6 it goes on like this. Briefly, It’s up to you to make it easier and harder.
The only thing you need to do is preparing codes on papers with colorful pens. It is possible to create coding activity with many things. This time we used colorful mushroom nails. If you don’t have this, you can use pompoms, pebbles, toy cars or else.
