You can add tongs to make it more difficult for your 2 yo and add simple colors for 3 yo and color patterns for 4-5 yo and then add more holes and longer patterns for 6 it goes on like this. The only thing you need to do is preparing codes on papers with colorful pens. It is possible to create coding activity with many things. This time we used colorful mushroom nails. If you don’t have this, you can use pompoms, pebbles, toy cars or else.
While counting, possible to strengthen hand muscles. Simple setups are great helpers for parents. Yes, it is very easy setup and includes many skills in it like color sorting, counting, hand-eye coordination, fine motor control and more.
It is possible to create dozens of DIY puzzles with ccardboards. DIY puzzles are both the best recycling projects and great for many skills.
We colored paper plate and added pipe cleaners edge of it in order to copy the shapes drawn on the paper plate. It has been both color and shape matching and of course great fine motor activity at the same time.
These tiny figurines are really great for many activities like color sorting, line tracing, color matching and many sensory plays. This has been line tracing and color sorting combo. So I can say that it is great for toddlers. Of course you can use any kind of toys instead of figurines.
Legos are not only for construction plays but also for preparing dozens of activities. This is one of them. Great for color or shape sorting/matching plays. While using small pieces for preschoolers, for younger kids you can use duplo legos . They are also great for math activities.
You can sort your toys into the colors. We made frames with popsicle sticks and filled inside them with the same color of figurines.
